Alongside the new D-Link Covr whole home Wi-Fi system, the company today announced two new reasonably priced wireless smart home cameras that support a range of advanced features including IFTTT integration.
First up is the D-Link HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8100LH). Priced under $120, the 720p camera supports two-way audio, sound and motion detection, a 180 field of view, night vision extending up to 16 feet and 802.11n wireless support. There’s support for video clip recording to an integrated SD card slot alongside the aforementioned IFTTT (If This Then That) platform, which allows the camera to work with a range of third-party apps and services.
Also joining the line-up is the budget D-Link HD Wi–Fi Camera (DCS–8000LH), which is priced at just $69. It also offers 720p resolution with an integrated microphone, narrower 120 degree field of vision alongside the same night vision, motion and sound detection capabilities.
Both cameras are controlled by the mydlink Home app which supports free local recording via a microSD card as well as free and paid cloud recording options.
Expect to see the D-Link HD 180 Degree Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-8100LH) and D-Link HD Wi–Fi Camera (DCS–8000LH) in stores in Q2 2017.
