Fitness is big business and the tech market hasn’t wasted any time making sure we are more than well catered for. There are many devices available that will monitor your daily calorie burn and steps taken and they do so very well, but in fairness, all of those gadgets look like, well, gadgets.
Up until now, if you’ve wanted some form of fitness device on your wrist, it has nearly always been a digital style time-piece, and whilst this is fine for many, it would be refreshing to see a timepiece that looks more classy and classic – a bit more like a watch.
We’ll shortly be taking a look at the iFit Classic and as the name would suggest, it is a classically styled timepiece with the appearance of a chronograph, but with fitness monitoring built in.
Three analogue dials will display your daily metrics and all of the collated data can be synced using the iFit system on your smartphone. Sleep tracking, waterproofing to 50 meters and a 7 day rechargeable battery make this an interesting alternative to activity bands.
Priced at $199 and available in a choice of Obsidian Black and Frost White, the iFit Classic is available in stores now. Be sure to check back soon for a complete rundown of all it can do.
