Season’s Greetings from the We Got Served Team

It’s that time again! As we draw towards the end of the year, the We Got Served team would all like to wish you the very best for the holidays, and to say a big thank you for visiting and being a part of our community during 2008.

With over 275,000 visits a month and almost 20,000 of you registered on our forums, we’ve seen the WGS Community flourish this year and that’s due in no small part to everyone who has posted, moderated and read thousands of posts, reviews and articles this year.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed, and an extra special thank you to our team of writers, forum moderators and wiki editors all of whom have put in hundreds of hours of work this year to create the news, reviews, features and support documents we’ve all enjoyed this year. Talking of whom, a couple of them wanted to pass on their own personal greeting:

Time is quickly getting ready to close out another year. As we enter the holiday season, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone in the WGS forums a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. It has been a wonderful experience being part of the WGS team and having the opportunity to witness all the contributions from the WHS user base that makes WGS a premier WHS resource. Jim Clark

Best wishes for the holiday season and New Year to WGS community members from Australia. I hope you get time to spend with family – and also find sometime to tune up your WHS and Media Center systems and try out the latest add-ins. With nearly 20,000 members the WGS forums are a strong community that provides support to members and I am very proud to be part of the community. Bodog

Don’t think things are done and dusted for 2008, though. With the results of the WGS Reader Awards 2008 coming up on new Year’s Eve, and…. well, something else pretty exciting on the horizon in the WHS world, make sure you stay tuned to WGS over the holiday period and into 2009 as we report on the latest digital home news from the CES Show in Las Vegas.

  1. Merry Christmas to you and yours, as well. WGS is a great site; I depend on it for its presentation of technical resources with non-techy tone.

  2. I’m sure the whole team will keep up the good work.

I’ve been quite busy lately, but in Januari, when everything is over, I’ll be back a 100%!

    Merry Christmas everybody!
